The EBATC is composed of public agencies, equestrians, hikers, bicyclists, and conservationists who are committed to furthering the protection of the scenic and recreational resources of the East Bay.

The goal of EBATC is to provide an area-wide basis for collaboration and liaison for all groups, bodies or entities that are involved in the planning, funding, acquisition, development, maintenance and use of trails.

To further the use and development of trails and to espouse legislation to this end locally, Statewide and nationally.

To further the protection of the scenic and recreational resources of the East Bay Area for public use and enjoyment.

Annual Picnic - Briones Regional Park - June 19th
picnic rideJoin us for a guided hike, bike ride or horseback ride, followed by a BBQ lunch and gathering. We'll be co-hosting the annual picnic and group trail excursion with EBRPD. This year the event will be held in Briones Regional Park on Saturday June 19th at the Oak Grove Picnic Area.

10:00 AM-- hike or ride
1:00 PM-- barbecue lunch

This is a chance for equestrians, hikers, mountain bicyclists, and even unicyclists to celebrate the beautiful open spaces and trails of the East Bay together. Please join us for the group trail excursion, and stay for the BBQ!
